When a resident has moved out, and you need to delete or deactivate them, follow these steps to understand how to do it:


  1. Click on "Residents" on the left-side menu. 





  1. Choose the resident you want to deactivate and click "disable" at the bottom of the pop-up page. 


Important: If you deactivate a resident, any payments made by the resident linked to the TenantPay account number assigned to them will still be processed. However, if they make a payment after deactivation, it may result in exceptions, and a CA$ 25.00 service fee will be applied if a refund is required.





  1. If you would like to remove the resident, you will click on "Remove" at the bottom of the pop-up page. 


Important: If you remove a resident, they will no longer be in your portal, and any payments made by the resident linked to the TenantPay account number assigned to them will still be processed. However, if they make a payment after deactivation, it may result in exceptions, and a CA$ 25.00 service fee will be applied if a refund is required.





Afterward, you won't have any further concerns regarding this tenant.
